Possums are a frequent pest in urban and suburban areas. They frequent any easy food sources including trashcans and backyard chicken coops. They take up residence under porches, and anywhere that is warm and dry.

Opossum (Didelphis virginia)

North America’s only marsupial and nature’s minivan. Her tiny babies are born and crawl into her pouch where they develop until old enough to explore. Once they’re too big for the pouch, young will travel on mom’s back. Their prehensile tail allows them to carry leaves back to their nest.
